Linear regression plots of relative mRNA levels of 22 genes in 15 isolates plotted against distance in base pairs (bp) between a Tvmar1 insertion site and its nearest gene. The plots are divided into relative mRNA levels of proximal genes with Tvmar1 insertions located: (A) 5′ and (B) 3′ to the gene in insertion positive isolates; and (C) 5′ and (D) 3′ to the gene in insertion negative isolates.
