Phylogenetic tree of IC elements identified in this study with eight other members of the Tc1/mariner superfamily based on their transposases. Bootstrapped (1000 replicates) phylogenetic trees were inferred by using the Maximum Likelihood method in IQ-TREE [27]. Each sequence (except the DD37E and DD41D subclasses) contains the name of the transposon, the gene sequence number corresponding to the transposon, and the Latin abbreviation of the species in which the transposon is located.
