Presence of the hAT-mediated histone H3 amplification event in the family Mycosphaerellaceae, order Capnodiales of the fungal class Dothideomycetes. All six genomes available in the Cercospora / Pseudocercospora / Sphaerulina clade have multiple histone H3 copies that occur within hAT elements. The species highlighted in gray have multiple histone H3-like copies, whereas all other species lack the event. The star represents a divergence time estimate of 100 Mya (Rouxel et al 2011). Brackets to the right indicate the orders Capnodiales (C), Pleosporales (P) and Venturiales (V) in the class Dothideomycetes. A sequence of Aspergillus niger in the order Eurotiales of the class Eurotiomycetes was used as an outgroup
