Paired-end and single-end alignment. Paired-end mappability for certain base pair positions may be lower than for the single-end mappability due to the read pair aligning multiple times in the same start position with a different insert size. In that case, the paired-end mappability score for that specific base position could be lower than the single-end mappability as in this example
