Polymorphic pattern of the GGERV10B_311 locus in three chicken breeds. PCR amplification was conducted with 80 chicken DNA samples from three different chicken breeds (40 Korean domestic chicken, 20 Leghorn, and 20 Araucana). GGERV10B_311 (3,593 bp) insertion was present only in Korean domestic chicken (left) and small deletion allele (120 bp) was also detected. Two amplicon of Araucana indicates the absence of the GGERV10B_311 element and small deletion. Additionally, leghorn has only small deletion (right).
